Hey, did somebody open a time capsule two decades too early here? This is representative of what we were listening to way back in the first quarter of 2006. This collection of Hip Hop, R&B, and Pop with the token rock and country tracks has some great music, but it'll sound much better twenty years from now when we look back nostalgically at the best of 2005 and 2006.

At the point in time when your kids look at you blankly if you say "Three 6 Mafia" or "T-Pain", when Kelly Clarkson and Daniel Powter become answers to "Trivial Pursuit: the 2000s Edition", and when Rihanna and Sean Paul are featured on "Where are they now?", THAT's the time to bring out this CD and totally freak the youngsters out. (Of course you'll need to keep your CD player too, in case the new holographic systems can't play discs)

Buy this one for the edification of future generations, but there's no need to actually listen to it for a long time.
